Poached is a French inspired American restaurant located in the heart of Austin, Texas. We pride ourselves in loyal customers and fresh ingredients. Poached opened its doors in April 2005. Owner Matt Hawkins, is a business man with a love of food. After a long trip to France, he was inspired to bring back the smells to his hometown of Austin. At Poached, you can expect to find an abundance of fresh croissants and beignets, strong espresso with just a touch of foam, and, of course our specialty, Omelette aux lardons.
